M-III Engineering is dedicated to working with the military and providing the developmental services that enables a high quality product to be delivered to our Military Service Men/Women.  At M-III, we feel the soldiers deserve the best infrastructure and facilities that can be provided and we will do our best to deliver that through our Engineering and Land Surveying departments.  M-III additionally has a LEED Accredited Professional on  staff which relates well to the Military's mandate to build "green".  M-III is also able to help fulfill federal set-aside requirements.  We are a Federally Certified VOSB, MOSB, SDB company and are currently an 8(a) applicant company.

 

recent representative Projects

FORSCOM (Forces Command Center), Ft Bragg, NC is a $300+ million Design/Build project for the US Army Forces Command / US Army Reserves Headquarters that is part of the military's Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) program. The FORSCOM project for M-III consisted of a multi-year, multi-site project throughout Ft Bragg. The project includes site demolition and preparation, construction of utility infrastructure and ~700,000-sf of Command HQ office space and associated communications buildings.FORSCOM_Aerial
MASCAL/DECON (Mass Casualty / Decontamination), Ft Bragg, NC is a Design/Build facility for the military located next to the Womack Army Medical Center on base.  The project is designed to be a LEED certified building and had special concerns with contaminating utilities if an actual event ever did occur.  M-III Engineering was contracted to perform all civil/site engineering and land surveying services for the project including topographic surveys, grading design, utility design, site design/layout, specification development, stormwater treatment, and construction staking. US Army Reserve Center, Knightdale, NC is a $25+ million, 27-acre training center in eastern Wake County. The facility will have over 81,000-sf and include maintenance buildings to support its vehicle fleet.  Reservists in engineering and transportation units will be assigned there which will include 700+ soldiers.  M-III was contracted to provide the boundary, topographic and tree surveys that were used for the base mapping of the development project.  Additional Concrete Monumentation of the site, legal descriptions, and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys were part of M-III's scope.
