Members of M-III's staff has worked closely with local universities, community colleges and county/city schools. M-III has the additional benefit of being able to help satisfy our client's set-aside requirements which most projects in this market have mandated goals due to the funding source. M-III is a certified Small Disadvantaged Business through the North Carolina, Virginia, and Federal departments.
recent representative Projects
NC State University Carmichael Tennis Complex
/ Court Renovation, Raleigh,
NC. The NCSU Carmichael Complex features 12 outdoor
tennis courts serving faculty/staff and students. The
project included the complete renovation of the complex
completed in 2010. M-III Engineering was contracted to
mark extent of demolition, stake the lighting,
buildings/structures, utility/stormwater connections and grade
the new tennis courts including erosion control measures.

East Carolina University School of Dentistry,
Greenville, NC is a $90+ million project consisting of a 100,000-sf
building, Ledyard E. Ross Hall, and will be located on the ECU
Health Science Campus. The school is scheduled to open and
initially start admitting dental students in the Fall of 2011 and will
be only the second Dental School in North Carolina. M-III
Engineering was contracted to perform construction surveying
services including clearing limits and silt/tree protection,
rough & fine grading of site including slope stakes,
Stormwater/BMP layout, Parking and C&G layout and Utility
As-built surveys.

Shepard Middle School, Durham, NC is a
"International Baccalaureate (IB)" Magnet School serving
~450 students in grades 6-8. M-III Engineering was
contracted to perform the construction staking for the additions
including erosion control / grading of the site, layout of the
road and new parking lots, stormwater and sanitary sewer
extensions, fire department access roads, footer
surveys for the expansion, and as-built surveys.
