History 

M-III Engineering, PLLC (pronounced "M-Three") was founded in November 2008 by Jose F. Martinez, III as a Civil/Site Engineering company.  Mr.  Randy D. Mason joined M-III the following February as a principal partner and started the Geomatic/Surveying Department.  Jose and Randy then spent the next year in home offices performing all of the surveying field work, site design, CAD work and everything in between.

In March 2010, M-III Engineering moved into their first office space when M-III acquired the North Carolina Surveying Division of BSC Group, Inc. based out of Boston, Massachusetts.  This acquisition included personnel from BSC Group including Mr. Mark Yarbrough as M-III's new Geomatics Manager as well as their existing backlog, equipment and office space.  By the end of 2010, M-III had added additional crews and equipment and had grown from 2 employees to over 10.

Looking toward the future, M-III has positioned itself to be a leader in the Federal, Municipal, and Private markets by building a highly qualified and passionate team of professionals with the education, experience and personal drive to advance the company.  M-III has the necessary talent, certifications, and qualifications to provide our clientele a land development experience of a large firm but with the personal attention of a smaller company.
